I am very excited to receive the endorsement of the Roanoke Valley Association of Realtors for my candidacy for Salem City Council. The members of RVAR work in our City daily and understand that property in Salem commands a premium price due to the quality of our school division and the services provided by our City. I appreciate their confidence in my ability to maintain and improve on the quality of life in Our City.

Election day is only a week away, please mark your calendars and remember to vote on Tuesday May 4^th. I am excited about the possibility of serving you, the citizens of Salem, on City Council and I will appreciate your support and most importantly your VOTE for Wayne Adkins on May 4^th.

Business Leadership Fund Endorsement

I am honored and humbled to receive the endorsement from the Business Leadership Fund administered by the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce. It was exciting to read the comment by Mr. Mike Pace that the committee felt that I had “progressive ideas that would keep the Salem strong and moving forward”. I also appreciate the fact that the committee felt that my experience on the City of Salem School Board would serve as a benefit to working with City Council.

Canvassing Salem

Sandy and I have been enjoying our visits with you our fellow citizens as we have been canvassing the neighborhoods of Salem asking for your support and vote on May 4^th. It is great to visit with folks and learn what is on their minds. It is also rewarding to learn how much you enjoy living in Salem. We look forward to continuing to walk neighborhoods and meet as many of you as we can between now and election day. It is not going to be possible to visit all of you so please let us know if you want me to visit with you. I will accommodate as many request as possible.
